HYDRAULIC NOTES:
•
When any hydraulic port is opened, plug to
reduce risk of contamination.
•
When checking for hydraulic leaks do not use
your hands. Hydraulic fluid under pressure can
get under skin and will require immediate
medical attention. Use cardboard or similar
method to check for leaks.
•
Lower implements attached to lift arms to relieve
hydraulic pressure from system before servicing.
•
When servicing hydraulic pipe fittings, do not use
teflon tape. Use a liquid sealant that will
dissolve into system.
•
Make sure all hydraulic connections are tight
before applying pressure to system.
HYDRAULIC OIL AND FILTERS (every 400 hours)
(Fig.21 / 22 / 22A)
1. Drain Oil reservoir by removing drain plug H on
bottom of hydraulic oil reservoir.
2. Ensure that plug is clean and reinstall in tank.
3. Unscrew both filter elements G and discard.
4. Clean the rubber seal through which the filter
elements pass.
5. Apply a thin film of oil to the seals of the new
filters and install.
6. Remove the fill cap/gauge J and add the
recommended oil (see below) to a level
approximately 6" down from the bottom of the fill
neck.
7. Reinstall the fill cap.
8. Start the tractor and allow to run at 1/4 throttle for
approximately 5 minutes.
9. Recheck the oil level using the fill neck gauge.
Adjust oil level as required.
