Optional Air Filter Kit and Element Replacement Procedure
Install on Powermax1000/1250/1650

If you are also installing an oil removal air filter, refer to Order of optional
air filters on page 4.
1. Disconnect the power and gas supply.
2. Remove the filter bowl on the external air filter.
a. Pull the black release tab and hold.
b. Rotate the filter bowl until it is released.
c. Pull the filter bowl down to remove it.
3. Remove the filter body from the power supply using a large adjustable
wrench.

The brass fitting should remain attached to the power supply.
4. Apply thread sealant to the adapter on the power supply

If applied too heavily, excess amounts of thread sealant can
contaminate the gas line.
5. Install the new air filter
sealant, with the arrow pointing towards the power supply.
Never use PTFE tape on gas fittings. Use liquid or paste
pipe sealant.

Based on the type of Powermax, you may need to remove the filter
bowl on the new Eliminizer filter, so that you can properly thread it
into the fittings on the plasma power supply.
6. Install adapter 015510
7. Install the old filter
