Cabling
230 V AC
PXC48 - PXC96
Disconnect the circuit breaker associated with the control unit
before cabling the 230 V AC grid and for the whole time that the
control unit is open .
Handling the 230 V AC primary power cables is dangerous; risk
of death through electrocution . Connect the earth via a Faston to
the relevant connector (PXC48, PXC96), or to terminal PE (PXC200) .
Connecting to earth must be done according to the regulations
in force .
Connect the 230 V AC Line and Neutral cable to the transform-
er's terminals .
Lock the 230 V AC power supply cable to the container so that
BATTERY
The battery is the security alarm system control unit's secondary power source . To optimise recharging and battery life, it is recommended
that a PXSTB temperature sensor that allows the recharging of the battery to be regulated depending on its temperature should be installed .
Installing the PXSTB sensor without opening jumper JP1 causes the battery charge voltage to fall by 1 Volt, thus impeding its
recharging .
PXSTB NOT INSTALLED
it cannot move even if the terminals are disconnected .
parts are earthed (control unit and cover) .
only when the control unit's internal cabling is completed .
PXSTB INSTALLED
Respect the battery po-
larity when connecting .
PXC200
Before closing the control unit always check that all metal
Reattach the circuit breaker associated with the control unit
The JP1 jumper
must be open (re-
moved) . Put the
PXSTB sensor in
contact with the
battery .
