Use of the appliance
As soon as the bread maker is plugged into the power supply, a beep will be heard and "3:00" appears in the
middle of the display, at the same time on the right bottom corner the number "1", they are the default settings.
The arrows will show the default settings "Medium" and "900g"
Start/Stop button
The button is used for starting and stopping the selected baking program.
Any other button is inactivated except the START/STOP button after a program has begun.
To stop the program, press the START/STOP button for approx. 2 seconds, till a beep will be heard.
Pause function
After procedure starts up, you can press START/STOP button once to interrupt at any time, the operation will be
paused but the setting will be memorized. Touch START/STOP button again to re-start the procedure. Within 10
min without touching any button, the program will continue automatically.
Menu button
It is used to set different programs. Each time it is pressed (accompanied by a short beep) the program will vary.
Press the button continuously till the desired program will be shown on the display. The selectable programs will
be as below:
Basic: kneading, rise and baking bread. You may also add ingredients to increase flavour.
French: kneading, rise and baking within a longer rise time. The bread baked with this menu usually will have a
crisper crust and light texture.
Whole wheat: kneading, rise and baking of whole wheat flour. It is suggested not to use the delay function as
this can produce poor results.
Quick: kneading, rise and baking with shorter time. The bread baked with this menu is usually smaller with a
dense texture. For perfect quick breads, it is suggested that all liquids be placed in the bottom of the bread pan,
dry ingredients on top. During the initial mixing of quick bread batters and dry ingredients may collect in the
corners of the pan, it may be necessary to help machine mix to avoid flour clumps by using a plastic spatula.
Sweet: kneading, rise and baking sweet bread. You may also add ingredients to add flavour.
Gluten free: kneading, rise and baking bread with gluten free ingredients. You may also add more ingredients
to increase the flavour.
Ultra fast: kneading, rise and baking in a shortest time. Usually the bread made with this program is smaller and
rougher than that made with" Quick" program. With this program the water temperature is very important that
should be in the range of 48-50 , it is suggested to use a cooking thermometer to measure the temperature.
Dough: kneading and rise, but without baking. Remove the dough and bake it in oven or steam cooker. It is
suggested for make pizza..
Jam: boiling jams and marmalades. Fruit or vegetables must be chopped before putting them into the bread pan.
Cake: kneading, rise and baking, rise with baking powder.
Sandwich: kneading, rise and baking light texture and thin crust bread.
Bake: only baking. Used for doughs that are already processed and leavened or to increase the cooking time at
the end of the previous programs.
Colour button
With this button you can select a LIGHT, MEDIUM or DARK colour for the crust. Press this button till your desired
colour will be shown on the display. This button is not applicable for the programs "Dough" and "Jam".
