n. Never set the power tool down before
the fitted tool has come to a complete
stop. The rotating fitted tool could
come into contact with the surface of
the base and you could lose control of
the power tool.
o. Never allow the power tool to run while
you are carrying it. Your clothing could
accidentally come into contact with the
rotating fitted tool and the fitted tool
could be driven into your body.
p. Clean the vents of your power tool
regularly. The motor fan will draw dust
into the housing; if a large amount of
metal dust accumulates, it could pose
electrical hazards.
q. Do not store the power tool near flam-
mable materials. Sparks could ignite
these materials.

liquid coolants. Using water or other
liquid coolants could cause an electrical

tools. It is not permissible to repair

d. Clean any dirt, oil, grease and water off
of the clamping surfaces.

It is not permitted to use loose reducing
rings or bushings to reduce bore holes
in circular saw blades.
Make sure that fixed reducing rings for
securing the fitted tool have the same
diameter and are at least ¹⁄₃ of the cut-
ting diameter.

Make sure that fixed reducing rings are
parallel to one another.

g. Handle the fitted tools carefully. Ideally,
you should store them in the original
packaging or special containers. Wear
protective gloves for better grip and to
further reduce the risk of injury.
h. Before using fitted tools, make sure that
all protective devices are properly

prevent damage, remove the fitted tool
before you transport the power tool.

Observe the data on the label or the fitted
tool as well as restrictions on use, safety
instructions or other notes. Comply with the
labelled direction of rotation of the fitted
tool. If you are unsure which fitted tool to
use, consult the manufacturer or a qualified
professional. Observe the speed of the fit-
ted tool and the power tool.
