To enjoy your new appliance as long as possible, please
read carefully the Operating Instructions and the attached
safety instructions before putting the appliance into
operation. We also recommend keeping the Operating
Instructions for future reference.
Making technical changes to improve the appliance as
part of the continuous product development reserved.

This document represents the original Operating
Instructions.

If any parts are missing or are damaged, please contact
your dealer.
Use as designated
The power chain pruning saw has exclusively been
designed for pruning of trees and woody plants from the
ground.
Works other than those for which the appliance has been
designed and which are specified in the Operating
Instructions cannot be performed with this appliance.
Any other use will be considered a use in conflict with the
designation. The manufacturer will not be liable for any
consequential damage and injuries. Please be sure to
know that the appliance has not been designed for
industrial purposes.

Operator requirements
The operator must carefully read the Operating
Instructions before using the appliance.
Qualification
No special qualification is necessary for using the
appliance apart from detailed instruction by an expert.
Minimum age
The appliance can only be operated by persons over 18
years of age. An exception includes youngsters operating
the appliance within their professional education to
achieve necessary skills under trainer's supervision.
Training
Using the appliance only requires appropriate instructions
by a professional or reading the Operating Instructions. No
special training necessary.
Before putting the appliance into operation
Assembly
Depending on the required working length, connect the
engine unit with the extension tube or connect the engine
unit with the cutting unit using the aluminium die casting
cap. In doing so, make sure the drive shafts inside slip into
each other.
Fasten the handle (pic. B/E/5) to the engine unit using 2
Allen bolts (pic. B/E/4).
Screw the additional handle to the handle using the
Phillips screw (pic. B/E/4).
Hang the shoulder strap (pic. B/8) to the engine unit eye
(pic. F) and adjust it so that it is fitted comfortably,
appliance relieved and working made easier.
Please make sure the assembled parts are firmly
tightened.
Every time the appliance is to be put into
operation, check it for the following:
Fuel system tightness
Perfect state of the protective and cutting equipment
Firm tightening of all the screwing
Fuel and oil (pic. V)
Use 2-stroke 1:40 mixture.
(do not use petrol mixture stored for more than 30 days;
the same applies to E10 fuel).
