FAULT IDENTIFICATION
Attempts to locate faults should only be made by
trained experts.
The machine does not work:
There may be no mains supply or a damaged fuse.
Check that both mains supply and fuse are intact.
Check that the main switch emits light.
Overheat:
Occurs if the machine is overloaded.
- This occurs when welding with higher load than
permitted,
- or if the machine needs cleaning
- or if the air inlet or outlet of the machine has been
partly or totally blocked.
Check the machine data or clean the fan blades and
the cooling tube by use of clean, dry compressed air
after disconnecting the machine from the incoming
mains supply.
The machine does not produce 140 amps welding
output:
Check the mains voltage being connected to the
machine. Performance depends on correct mains
voltage.
The machine does not switch off if the mains voltage
is too low.
The machine switches off but not because of over-
heating.
Check the mains voltage.
The extension cable is to thin.
The extension cable is rolled up.
The net cable is longer than 30 m.
If none of the above successful:
Contact dealer - the machine may be broken.
