CONTROL SWITCHES
1. Switch for welding voltage
(Fine adjustment)
For machines with "Gas-test".
When set at "Gas-test", the gas flows when the
torch trigger is pressed. This function is used to
check the gas flow. By pushing at this adjustment
there will be open for gas and wire. (The wire will
stop after about 1-2 seconds). The gas flow is
checked by listening to escapning gas.
2. Mains ON/OFF switch and voltage adjustment
(Coarse adjustment)
3. Earth return lead socket
4. Connection for MWF
The machine is always delivered with a MWF 8
wire feed unit, the MWF 11/21 is connected to the
connection kit as illustrated. All operation of the
wire feeder and choice of function, times etc are
made on the wire feeder (see operation manual
for MWF 8/11/21).
5. ON
Lights when the machine has been turned on.
6. Overheat error
MAINTENANCE
Only first-class materials are used in the development
and production of MIGATRONIC welding machines.
However good the materials that have been used, and
no matter how careful the construction, an advanced
product such as a welding machine requires your care
and attention if it is to operate perfectly for many years
to come.
Lack of maintenance can lead to reduced reliability
and repeal of the guarantee.
Power source
Power source, rectifier and transformer should be
blown clean for dust at least once a year.

FAULT IDENTIFICATION

Too little welding effect.
The welding seam forms a bead standing proud of
the plate.
1. One of the three fuses in the main switch is not
working (one phase is missing).
2. The welding voltage is too low.
Switch one setting higher.
