Changing the PIN code
The registration and deregistration of handsets and numerous other
functions available on the telephone are protected against unauthorised
use by a PIN code. The PIN code can comprise of up to eight digits. The
default setting of the PIN code is 0000". If you change a PIN code, keep
a note of the new PIN code in a safe place. Some telephone functions
are only available after entering the valid PIN code. If you forget or lose
the PIN code, please contact your sales outlet.
Proceed as follows to change the PIN code:
MENU , X SYSTEM , OK
X CHANGE PIN , OK

Note:
If the old PIN code is entered incorrectly, the process is
cancelled and the message WRONG PIN
display.
