Safety notes
Caution: It is essential to read the General Information in
chapter 1 of this manual before starting up.

Checking the package contents
The package contains:
a base station
one handset with belt clip
a power adapter plug
4.3
Connecting the base station
Position the base station within reach of the telephone line socket and a
power outlet.
1. Plug the connector at one end of the power cable in the socket
marked ) on the underside of the base station and the
power adapter plug in a properly installed 230 Volt mains
power outlet. The power adapter plug from the base station
must remain connected at all times. For safety reasons, only
use the power adapter plug supplied.
Note:
Access to the power adapter plug must not be blocked by
furniture or other obstacles.
2. Connect the telephone connection cable enclosed to the TT83
telephone line socket and the telephone socket marked ( on
the underside of the base station. Only use the telephone
connection cable supplied.
3. Lay the two cables under the base station footpads, through
the clamp towards the rear.
