Selecting a base station
You can use the handset to manually select the base station to be used
to make calls. It is also possible to define settings ensuring the handset
automatically establishes a connection with the bases stations within
range. The handset then automatically registers on the nearest base
station. In order for the automatic transfer of the handsets from one base
station to another to work properly, the respective handset must be
registered on all the base stations via which calls should be taken and
made.
Further information on the use of several base stations is provided in
Chapter 16.
