Infrared:
Selects the desired infrared illumination mode.
(On/One LED/Off)
ON:
All LEDs illuminate when taking photos or
videos at night.
One LED:

OFF:
LEDs are deactivated so your night photos

SMS CONFIGURATION
ENABLING SMS ALERTS
SPYPOINT LIVE
The
alerts (fees may apply for SMS) to one or more cell phones. Sending
SMS alerts can be done in 2 ways.
1. By activating the option "Theft alert": the camera has a
security system allowing the detection of unexpected shocks or
movements (in case of theft or vandalism) and can inform the user
by sending an SMS alerts to one or more cell phones. This option
can be activated via the settings menu of the camera.
2. By activating the option "Security alert": available only when
the camera is configured in Security mode, this option allows the
camera to send an SMS alert to one or more cell phones to warn
when images are transmitted.

Note:
This last option can be activated via the
mySPYPOINT
user's account only, under the tab
"Setup" and then in the section "SMS Alerts". For this
setting to take effect, the camera must be configured in
Security mode (settings menu of the camera).
ADDING PHONE NUMBERS
In order to send SMS messages to one or more cell phones, the
camera must be programmed using a configuration file containing a
list of phone numbers. To do so:
1. Download the configuration file
• Visit www.spypoint.com and download the file named "sms.zip"
(located in the section "firmware update" for the LIVE camera
and in the sub-section "SMS Configuration").
• Open this .zip file by double clicking on it.
2. Add/edit the numbers to the configuration file
• Open the file named "sms.txt", it is empty.
• Type the desired phone numbers in this file, including area code
(one number per line, without space or dash).
• Save changes to the file.
3. Install the configuration file in the camera
• Copy the file containing the list of phone numbers ("sms.txt")
on an SD card.
• Make sure the camera is turned OFF.
• Insert the SD card into the camera.
• Hold down the "OK" button and turn ON the camera.
• The screen lights up and displays
may then release the "OK" button.
• Once the screen displays
"Updating SMS
turn off the camera.
• The camera now contains the list of numbers to use when
sending SMS messages.
To modify the list of phone numbers, repeat steps 2 and 3 by
modifying the contents of the configuration file.
To completely disable the sending of SMS messages, repeat
steps 2 and 3 using a file that contains no phone number.
Note: The cost of each SMS message will be charged to the cellular
account of the user according to his plan.
