13. Battery Replacement


Depending on the type of batteries or rechargeable batteries that you use, the
replacement intervals are different. High quality alkaline batteries have the
longest life span; rechargeable batteries or cheap zinc carbon batteries need
a frequent replacement.
Please take note of chapter 7.
a) Base station
If the empty battery symbol (
must be replaced by new ones.
To replace the batteries proceed as described in chapter 8. a).

Please note:
After a battery replacement all saved data in the base station will be deleted and
must be entered once more.
Also the MIN/MAX values are deleted.
b) Combi sensor, outdoor sensors, pool sensor
If the indication of the corresponding sensor is off for more than 24 hours, this means that the
old batteries must be replaced by new ones according to the respective operating manual.

Check if a fault in the radio transmission is not maybe the cause for the absence
of data transmission. In this case as well, there is no indication in the display
of the base station.
The cause could be e.g. a metal object in the transmission path (e.g. parked
car).
