Carrying out the fitting (for all KSK)
Unscrew the coupling screws of the
S
divided half shells.
Clean the contact surfaces of the
S
coupling, the drive shaft and the
connecting shaft.
These will only function if they are free of
oil and grease.
Push the couplings each with the
S
undivided hub as far as possible onto the
drive shafts of the axes.
Fasten the coupling by gently tightening
the coupling screws.
Place the connecting shaft in the open
S
couplings.
Compare the support depth B of the
S
connecting shaft with the minimum value.
If the support depth is too small, it can be
compensated by B the shifting of the
coupling away from the stop towards the
shaft.
The drive shaft must grip unto the
undivided hub with at least dimension B.
