Make sure that the maximum permitted
S
static slide offset Dw of the axes is main
tained over the complete positioning path
(see Fig. 28 and Fig. 29). The diagram is
already reduced by the dynamic share of
the offset by the shaft torsion.
The slide offset Δw results from:
the offset of different slide feeds Δk
fitting tolerances Δm.
Ascertaining the offset Δk
Measure the positioning paths k of the
S
slides on both axes at the same number of
revolutions of the drive shaft (if possible
over the complete stroke range).
The deviation Δk results from the path
difference.
Make sure that the permitted axis
S
offset is not exceeded.
The permitted axis offset is derived from
the ratio of the radial offset r and the
angle offset á.
The dependency of the two variables is
shown in Fig. 27 in the chapter
Characteristic curves".
Compare the coupling radius with the
S
available fitting space.
The couplings may project over the
contour of the toothed belt axis
depending on the size−length
combination.
Fixing the toothed belt axis
Make sure that the axis is supported over
S
a large area.
This is guaranteed by the support
elements in accordance with the chapter
Accessories".
The maximum permitted distances
without supports are explained in the operating instructions for the axis.
