The mains voltage must correspond to the
specifi cation on the rating plate.
For safety reasons, only plug the power plug
[18-4] into totally earthed socket.
Only use extension cables with ground wire.
The switch-/socket-unit [18-1] serves as voltage
supply and as ON-/OFF-switch of a power tool build
into the CMS-GE.
Plug the plug of the mains [18-4] into a totally
earthed socket.
Connect the power tool, built into the CMS-GE,
to the socket [18-5].
To switch ON press the green button under the
switch guard [18-2].
To switch OFF press the red button [18-3].
The switch-/socket-unit has a zerovoltage release.
This prevents a recurrence of the voltage following
a power cut (e.g. blackout). After a power cut press
the green button again to switch ON.
On completion of your work, wind the power cable
around the holders [3-1].
Insert a suitable reducing ring in the centring ring
in accordance with the cutter diameter d and the
router model. Use the smallest possible reducing
ring to guarantee reliable working results.

The switch guard [18-2] has the purpose to prevent
unintended access to the ON-switch.
Open the switch guard [18-2] to switch on the
CMS-GE.
When unobserved or after work: Lock the
switch guard [18-2] with a padlock to prevent
misuse.
If an extension cable is required, it must have a suf-
fi cient cross-section so as to prevent an excessive
drop in voltage or overheating. An excessive drop in
voltage reduces the output and can lead to failure
of the motor. The table below shows you the correct
cable diameter as a function of the cable length for
the router you use. Use only U.L. and CSA listed
