and close the lever [13-5]. To enable fi tting and
removing the extractor hood with the router at-
tached, the recess [13-3] in the extractor hood
can be opened by turning the segment [13-4].
For optimised dust extraction, the recess with the
rotating segment must be closed during work.
WARNING
Risk of accident
Note that you have to remove the extractor
hood when changing router bits with more than
28 mm (1.1 in.) diameter.
Do not forget to refi t the extractor hood on the
router base.
Place the router on the router module [14]:

Make sure that the centring ring is seated
correctly in the opening on the router module
and the router.
Align the router so that the journal [14-2] on
the column guide is facing towards the cutting
depth adjuster and the adjustment plate [14-5]
engages in the hole [15-1].

Clamp the router by securing the three clamping
supports [14-4] in the three holes [15-2].
Unscrew the rotary knob [14-3] and move the
router upwards.
Use the crank handle [14-1] to set the height
adjuster so that the guide plate supports the
journal [14-2].
Inserting the router module
Risk of accident
Take care of your fi ngers when inserting the
router module in the basic unit.
When installing the router module in the basic
unit, fi rst insert in the side opposite the switch
[16-2].
Hold the router module by the recesses [16-1]
when doing this.

Lower the router module forwards into posi-
tion.
Risk of damaging
When inserting the router, make sure you do
not trap the mains cable.
Tighten the two screws [17-1] to secure the
router module.
