3 | Safety

3.1 | Intended use

The gazzini Handlebar Clamps are used exclusively for fitting gazzini or ABM
Sport-X handlebars with an outside diameter of 28.6 mm to the vehicle models
listed in the type approval (if used in conjunction with handlebars from other
manufacturers, the type approval will no longer be valid).
It is also important to make sure that the product can be properly used on your
motorcycle without any problems—particularly if it has already been previously
modified in the area of the handlebars / handlebar clamps / triple tree / control
cables / windshield / fairing. It is imperative that you adhere to the stipulations
in the vehicle operating instructions and the specifications of the vehicle
manufacturer.
The gazzini Handlebar Clamps must only be used as described in these
instructions. Any other use is considered improper use and can result in material
damage. The manufacturer and supplier accept no liability for damage caused
by improper or incorrect use.

3.2 | Safety instructions

WARNING!
Danger for children and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental abilities (e.g. partially disabled persons,
elderly persons with reduced physical and mental abilities) or
lack of experience and knowledge (e.g. older children)!
• The product includes small parts and packaging which could
be swallowed. Keep these out of the reach of children, as
there is a risk of asphyxiation if they are swallowed.
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
• When carrying out installation work, make sure that the
vehicle is stable and that the workplace is well lit in order to
prevent injuries when removing the old handlebars and fitting
the new ones.
• Only install the handlebars and the handlebar clamps yourself
if you have the necessary technical knowledge. Otherwise it is
imperative that you have this work carried out by a motorcycle
workshop.
