IMPORTANT!
Risk of damage
• When carrying out installation, you must also adhere to the
installation instructions for the gazzini Handlebars.
• First check whether the handlebar clamps and the handlebars
are suitable for each other.
• The cables must always be installed so that they cannot
under any circumstances be subjected to tension from the
handlebars, even when the steering is at full lock. They must
not become trapped during the installation process. Longer
cables must be used as necessary.
• When the steering is at full lock, the handlebars and switch
units must not come into contact with any other components,
e.g. the tank or fairing.
• In order to ensure that the gazzini Handlebar Clamps function
reliably, it is essential that all the contact surfaces of snap-
lock connectors are clean, dry and free from damage during
the installation process. It is imperative that you make sure
that these contact surfaces are kept free from oil, silicone,
care products etc.
• The thread protrusion and thread engagement in the gazzini
Handlebar Clamp must be checked carefully and strictly
adhered to.
• The threads of the mounting bolts must be brushed with a
medium-strength, liquid threadlocker and tightened with a
torque wrench to the specified Nm.
• If the position of the handlebars are changed frequently, or if
converting to other handlebars, check the gazzini Handlebar
Clamps for damage.
• The gazzini Handlebar Clamps are developed for production
vehicles. No liability can be assumed for any damage caused
by combining the product with other accessories, as a result
of improper installation or due to insufficient maintenance.
