Remove the plastic plate.
Set the DIP switch as follows:
6.1. Modification for installations without P-conductor (2-wire operation)
• Applies when an installation only has two wires.
• Per power supply and control unit, only cone module with transponder reader may be connected.
• For new installations a P-conductor must be foreseen.
• Factory setting with 3-wire operation: OFF.
Slide the DIP switch 1 at the bottom into ON position (Image 4).
6.2. Adjustment of wire lengths
• Applicable in order to use a line resistance up to 60 Ω.
• External units and control devices integrated in the installation must be suitable for installations
with a line resistance up to 60 Ω.
• Factory setting at normal wire length ≤ 20 Ω: OFF: OFF.
Slide the DIP switch 2 at the top into ON position (Image 5).
6.3. RS485 interface
• Applicable on operation via the RS485 interface
• Mains voltage runs via a 24 V DC power supply or bus.
• Factory setting for installation at the end of the line: ON.
Slide the DIP switch 1 at the top in the OFF position (Image 6), if the device is not installed
at the end of the line.
7. INITIAL ACTIVATION
