Selecting the unit of measurement (mode 4)
As well as units such as mA or %, the following physical units are available:
•
°C – degrees Celsius
•
°F – degrees Fahrenheit
•
°R – degrees Rankine
•
°K – Kelvin
Procedure:
Select the required unit of measure with the
the M key.
Setting the temperature measurement range (modes 5 and 6)
The factory setting for the temperature measurement range is 0.00 °C ... 100.00 °C.
The temperature transmitter can be set to a maximum measurement span of –50 °C
... +200 °C.
Setting the start of the measurement range (mode 5)
Set the measurement range you want (in the range between –50 °C and +200 °C) in
the usual way, and confirm by pressing the M button.
Setting the end of the measurement range (mode 6)
Set the measurement range you want (in the range between –50 °C and +200 °C),
and confirm by pressing the M button. For the declared technical data, the minimum
measuring span must be 50 K. The lowest measuring span that can be set is 10 K.
Setting the limit values (modes 7 and 8)
Upward violations of the limits are signaled by two LEDs above the LCD display. The
green LED indicates that the temperatures to be measured are between the two limit
values. The red LED signals that the measured value is outside the limit values.
Upward violation of a limit value is indicated on the LCD by the
