5 - INSTALLING THE BLUETOOTH DEVICE
5.1 - Computer already equipped with Bluetooth device
If the computer already has a Bluetooth device, follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the
device to activate and configure it.
5.2 - Installing the Belkin F8T017ng Bluetooth Dongle on Windows XP or
Windows Vista operating system
The Bluetooth dongle is required in the event the PC does not have a Bluetooth connection.
Installing software for Windows XP and Vista.
To install the USB adapter software, follow the instructions given below:
NB: the installation process for Windows XP or Windows Vista might differ slightly. These instructions refer
to a Windows XP computer.
NB: do not insert the USB adapter in the USB port until you have installed the software.
1. Insert the Belkin installation software CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive.
2. To start installation, select "install software" from the menu
3. The "Software InstallShield Wizard" window comes up; click
"Next" to start the installation process.
