6 Installation

ATTENTION
– The components might be sharp.
– Wear safety gloves to avoid injury

Danger to life and limb
Installation, initial operation, maintenance and
repair must only be carried out by a qualified
tradesman.
6.1 Installation of the fresh water stations
– The installation instructions supplied with the fresh
water stations must be observed.
– Determination of the installation location:
The system examples 4.5 up to 4.9 and the useable
cable lengths must be observed.
– Installation of the individual fresh water stations
according to the system examples 4.5 up to 4.9:
– Lower edge height of the insulation shell approx.
1000 mm above floor level (upper edge of the
controller at eye level).
– Max. distance between the stations 200 mm.
– Feed the drainage pipe from the safety valve out of
the insulation to the outside.
Lay drainage pipe so that no danger can arise from
escaping water
– Installation of the piping according to the design
documents (installation of the ball valve see next
paragraph).
– Installation of the flow sensor in the common cold
water supply pipe with due consideration of the
direction of flow and the length of the cable (approx.
2.9 m). The distance to the distribution box must be
observed.
– To avoid problems caused by condensation, the
flow sensor has to be installed with the cable
pointing upwards
6.2 Installation of the ball valves
– One ball valve is installed in each of the individual
cold water supply pipes of the fresh water station.
– Oventrop recommends use of the "Regumaq
connection piping", OV item no. 1389082, see
chapter 13.
– The ball valve is installed vertically.
– The symbol indicating the direction of flow must be
observed
– The square of the vertically mounted ball valve has
to be turned so that the triangular gap and the two
markings of the square are at the 6 o'clock, 9 o'clock
and 12 o'clock position.

– The rotary handle can be removed from the actuator
and can be used as a tool for turning the stem
