Installation and operating instructions
Bus connecting cables are only required for the slave
actuator. Depending on the system design, a bus
connecting cable may be left over or can be used as
extension.
Before installation, the useable cable lengths must be
observed, see system example 4.7
The actuators of several cascade control sets must
not be interchanged. The master is programmed to
the
corresponding
number
Master/Slave actuator 2/3/4 must only be used once
within one cascade.
3.2 Storage
The cascade control set "Regumaq K" and the fresh
water stations must only be stored under the following
conditions:
– Do not store in open air, keep dry and free from dust.
– Do not expose to aggressive fluids or heat sources.
– Protect from direct sunlight and mechanical
agitation.
– Storage temperature: -20 °C up to +60 °C
– Max. relative humidity of air: 95 %
NOTICE
– Please protect the components of the cascade
control set against external forces (e.g. impacts,
vibrations etc.).
– External components like handwheels, pressure
test points or actuators must not be misused
for the absorption of external forces, e.g. as
carrying handle or connection point for lever
tools etc.
– Suitable transport and lifting devices are to be
used.
– Check all connections before initial operation
and tighten if necessary.
3.3 Packaging material
The packaging material is to be disposed of in an
environmentally friendly manner.

Suitable measures have to be taken to ensure that
the maximum operating pressures and maximum
and minimum operating temperatures are not
exceeded or undercut.
NOTE
The specifications and performance charts in the
technical data sheets "Fresh water stations
Regumaq X-30/XZ-30" must be observed. A filter with
a mesh size ≤ 140 m which is suitable for potable
water should be installed on the cold water side.
