2 Safety notes
2.1 Definition of the warning notices
These installation and operating instructions show
warnings which are displayed by symbols. The
symbols are linked to signal words which define the
seriousness of the danger which arises from a
situation. The warnings are to be observed to avoid
injuries to persons and damage to property.
DANGER
imminent dangerous situation which will lead to death
or serious injury if the safety guidelines are not
observed.
WARNING
possible dangerous situation which may lead to
death or serious injury if the safety guidelines are not
observed.
CAUTION
possible dangerous situation which may lead to minor
or moderate injury if the safety guidelines are not
observed.

2.2 Correct use
Safety in operation is only guaranteed if the fresh water
cascade "Regumaq K" is used correctly.
The fresh water cascade "Regumaq K" is used for the
transmission of heat from a central heat supply to the
potable water system of a supply unit. Any use of the
fresh water cascade outside the above applications
will be considered as non-compliant and misuse.
Claims of any kind against the manufacturer and/or
his authorised representatives, due to damages
caused by incorrect use cannot be accepted.
The observance of the installation and operating
instructions is part of the compliance terms.
2.3 Possible dangers at the installation location
The case of an external fire has not been taken into
consideration for the design of the installation.

Hot surfaces
The fresh water cascade "Regumaq K" and the
pipework may get very hot during operation. Wear
safety gloves and deactivate the installation before
work commences when system temperatures are
high.

2.4 Installation, initial operation and maintenance
Installation, initial operation, maintenance and repairs
must only be carried out by authorised and qualified
tradesmen.

technical development has to be considered (e.g.

3 Transport, storage and
packaging
3.1 Transport inspection
Upon receipt check delivery for any damages caused
during transit and completeness.
Any damage must be reported immediately upon
receipt.
