No sound audible
• A device in the playback chain is not turned on.
• The wrong input was selected on the amplifier or "IN THE MIX" DJ set.
• The volume control of the amplifier is set to "MINIMUM".
• The channel control (33), GAIN (27) or MASTER LEVEL control (37) of the McCrypt "IN THE MIX" DJ set is set
to "MIN".
• The CROSSFADER (34) hides the channel to be played back.
A channel does not work.
• An RCA cable was disconnected from the audio output of the player or the amplifier input.
• The balance control was set wrongly on the amplifier.
• The RCA connection cable is defective.
No ID3 tag text displays are played.
• The MP3 files on the storage medium (CD, USB storage, SD card) include no ID3 tag text information.
• There are no MP3 files on the storage medium.
Repairs other than those described above should only be carried out by an authorised specialist.

16. Useful Notes on Handling CDs

• Hold CDs at the edges only. This avoids fingerprints or dirt on the surface.
• Only touch CDs with clean hands.
• If one of your CDs is dirty, wipe it clean from the middle outwards using a soft, lint-free cloth. Never clean CDs
in a circular motion. Never use any solvents.
• If you can not remove the dirt, please use a commercially available CD cleaning agent (do not use a cleaning
agent for records) and heed the manufacturer's instructions for use.
• Do not write on your CDs and do not stick any labels etc. onto them. Labels might come off inside the CD play-
er and damage it.
• After playing your CDs, keep them in the provided CD cases.
• When storing CDs, do not expose them to direct sunlight, heat or moisture.
