Handling

Never switch on the device immediately after it was taken from a cold to a warm room. The resulting condensation
may destroy the device.
Let the device reach room temperature before switching it on. Wait until the condensation has evaporated.
Disconnect the USB plug and any connected external mains adapter when you are not using the device for an
extended period.
For safety reasons, do not operate the device in thunderstorms.
Do not listen to excessively loud music over an extended period of time. This may damage your hearing. Of
course, this is particularly the case when listening with headphones.

Maintenance

Regularly check the technical safety of the DJ-controller e.g. for a damaged casing.
If you have reason to believe that the device can no longer be operated safely, disconnect it immediately and make
sure it is not unintentionally operated. Disconnect USB plug and any connected external mains adapter!
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
the device is visibly damaged
the device no longer works
the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for an extended period of time or
after exposure to extraordinary stress caused by transport
Always observe the following safety information before cleaning or servicing the DJ controller:
Live components may be exposed if covers are opened or components are removed.
The device must be disconnected from all power sources before any servicing or repair work
is carried out.
Capacitors inside the device may still carry voltage even though they have been disconnected
from all power sources.
Only qualified experts familiar with the hazards involved and the relevant regulations must
perform repairs.
Clean the exterior of the device with a soft, dry cloth or brush only.
Never use any aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions that may damage the surface of the casing.
