PITCH-BEND buttons
• Keep the respective PITCH BEND (14 or 16) button depressed during playback to alter the speed by up to 16%.
The PITCH BEND - button (16) reduces the speed.
The PITCH BEND + button (14) increases the speed.
• The amount that the playback speed is altered depends on the length of time that the respective PITCH BEND
button is kept depressed.
• When the button is released, the music is played at original speed or at the speed specified by the PITCH slide
control (21).
n) BPM function
The TAP (18) button can be used to determine the beats per minute (Bpm) of a track.
• Press the TAP button (18) in the rhythm of the music during playback.
• The display (17) shows the result below the "BPM" display.
o) BRAKE-Function
With the BRAKE function, the title starts up or runs out slowly after the PLAY/PAUSE button (13) was pressed.
This button simulates the start or stop of a record.
• Press the button BRAKE (4) to activate or deactivate this function. The button lights up when the BRAKE func-
tion is activated.
p) REVERSE Function
When the REVERSE function is activated, the track is played backwards.
• Press the button REVERSE (5) to activate or deactivate this function. The button lights up when the REVERSE
function is activated.
q) TIME
Use the TIME (3) button to switch between the different times displayed (elapsed track time > total remaining time
> remaining track time) on the display.
• Keep pressing the TIME button (3) until the desired time display appears.
The total remaining time is only displayed for audio CDs. In USB, SD-Card operation or for CDs with
MP3 music files, the total playing time is not indicated.
r) SINGLE/CONTINUE Playback
• Use the SINGLE/CONTINUE (11) button to select single track playback (SINGLE) of continuous (CONTINUE)
track playback. For single track playback, the device enters pause mode after each track played.
s) SCRATCH
When the SCRATCH (vinyl) function is activated, you can scratch the track selected with the JOG wheel (2) in
play or pause mode like on a record player.
• Press the button VINYL (20) to activate or deactivate this function. When this function is activated, the button is
lit.
• Now turn the JOG wheel (2) to scratch.
