5. Fault finding

In case of failure - check the following points:
- Is there any gas at the burner?
- Is there any oil in the tank and are all valves open?
- Is the current supply to the unit OK?
- Is the room thermostat/week-end panel set to a temperature higher than the room temperature?
- Are the air intake- and exhaust openings open?
If the above points are OK, check the unit according to the table below
Burner will not start / fan not running:
No light in green
control light
Green control light in
the control panel is on
Red control light is on
Green control light on
control panel is on,
red control light on
burner is on
Burner stopped / fan still running
Fan breaker in position
„Man" or „AUTO"
The burner works / the fan does not start
The fan breaker is
in position „AUTO"
Fan breaker in
position „MAN"
The current to the unit has
Fuse in the unit is defective.
Thermal relay of fan motor
OT thermostat has disconnected
the unit.
The limit thermostat has
disconnected the fan.
Fan thermostat defective
or set wrongly.
Fan motor defective
Fan contactor defective

Check the current supply
been disconnected
Renew the fuse
Reset thermal relay
has operated.
Reset OT thermostat and find
the reason for the super-
heating
The fan will start automatically
when the exhaust air temp-
erature has fallen. Investigate
the reason for the disconnec-
tion.
Check fan thermostat
Change the motor
Change the contactor
