quantity of air will be reduced, so that the unit can will
become overheated and as a result of this switch off
(see also paragraph 5, fault finding). A too high
pressure loss will also reduce the efficiency of the
unit.
If a greater pressure loss is required then larger fan
motors are available as accessories.
For easier mounting of the ducts various duct
connection parts are available as accessories.

When mounting the duct, see point 2.8
„Positioning the safety sensor"!
2.6 Horizontal Version
All units can also be used as horizontally placed units
with the air exhaust on either the left or the right side.
For mounting the unit as horizontal version special
exhaust air grilles and cover plates for the bottom of
the unit are available.
Important:
When mounting the heater as a horizontal version,
see point 2.8 „Positioning the safety sensor"!
2.7 Changing of the Flue Outlet
It is possible to move the flue outlet from the back to
the top of the unit, which is first of all of significance in
connection with horizontally placed units. For this
purpose a special flue gas adapter is available from
the factory. The re-building is made as follows (see
fig. 7/8):
DV 45-120: The upper cover plate is removed and the
lid on top of the flue gas collector is unscrewed. Then
the rear cover plate is removed and the flue gas
connecting branch is unscrewed from the collector
and replaced by the lid.
Now the rear cover plate is re-fitted and the opening
of the flue gas connection is closed by means of the
lid of the upper cover plate. The flue gas connecting
branch (accessory) is mounted on top of the flue gas
collector and the upper cover plate is remounted.
