Mounting of the individual components

Position the filter container (2) horizontally in the filter base (1).
Position the filter pump (40) on the filter base (1) so that the
connecting tube (4) to the 6-way valve (10) can be attached
easily. The pump is screwed to the filter base (1) using the
selftapping screws (30) and washers (29) attached. With the
Ø500 sand filter unit, the holes for the pump must be drilled in
advance. Connect the upper, vertical discharge outlets on the
pump (40) with the spiral hose (18) or pipe (19) to the valve (10)
with the label "PUMP". The length of the spiral hose (18) can be
adapted to the pump type. The hose (4) is fastened to the valve
and the pump (40) with the hose clamps (28) using a screwdriver.
NOTICE
A repeated installation of the spiral hose may cause leakage.
 Wrap Teflon sealing tape around the saw tooth tread design
of the socket connections.
