Setting the base element in place

Align the base element horizontally in the excavation pit. Slight deviations are noticed significantly right to the
top of deep chambers. The space required for the footprint of the base element (bottom of the excavation pit)
must be in contact with the base element across the whole of its surface.
Use lean concrete to fix the base element in place at the side (see Fig. [25] [26]).
Information for crane transport:
Always use 4 load hooks.
Maximum load-bearing capacity of 4 load hooks: max. 200 kg.
Use a shackle with a 16 mm wedge diameter.
The crane chain or slip neck to the individual load point must be at
least 1 m long <A>.
Do not leave loads suspended from the crane for longer than one
hour.
Setting into the prepared excavation pit, see 3.1.

Inlets at the side

To make it the later fitting of inlets at the side easier
at any installation depth, the chamber parts can
be pre-scored using a saw cap. The sealing gaskets for
the pipe duct are available in the sizes DN 50, 70, 100
125 and 150.
The inlets at the side must be checked for leaks.
