7. Tighten Hardware

After attaching the main fan unit to the extension tube, tighten the following hardware to the specified torque.
Tighten the Mounting Hardware to 25 ft·lb (33.9 N·m)
using a 17 mm wrench and a torque wrench with a 17 mm
socket.
Allow the extension tube to hang freely and balance
itself, and then tighten the Extension Tube Hardware
to 25 ft·lb (33.9 N·m) using an 8 mm allen wrench and a
torque wrench with a 17 mm socket.
Tighten all hardware securing the angle irons to the roof structure to 40 ft·lb (54.2 N·m) using a 3/4" or 19 mm
wrench and a torque wrench with a 3/4" or 19 mm socket.
