11. Lifting the chassis
The chassis can be lifted by removing four screws. This
may be necessary if the connector is hidden under the
chassis and does not protrude from the back of the vehicle
to the battery compartment.
The LED connector (on the top of the vehicle) may also
become loose from the receiver/control unit.
Follow the steps below:
• Switch the vehicle off.
• Remove the two screws (A) on the bottom of the chas-
sis.
• Remove the screws (B) on the left and right of the ve-
hicle.
• Carefully lift the chassis upwards.
• The image below shows the connector (C) for the LEDs
on the top of the vehicle as well as the receiver/control
unit (D) that contains the socket for the LED connector.
• The image also shows the connector for the vehicle
battery (E), the battery compartment (F) for the vehicle
battery and the servo (G) for the two-gear transmission.
To close the chassis, follow the above steps in the reverse
order.
Ensure that the LED connector (C) is inserted into the re-
ceiver/control unit (D).
In addition, the peg (H) must be inserted into the opening
(I) on the chassis (on the left and right-hand side of the
vehicle), otherwise the chassis cannot be fixed in place
with the screws (A).
