- Switch on the vehicle. Wait for a few seconds until the vehicle has completed a self-test procedure.
The LED on the remote control will stay constant when the remote control and receiver have been
paired.
- On the remote control, move the "STEERING TRIM" control dial until the front wheels are approxi-
mately in the central position. You can fine tune the position of the wheels later when you drive the
vehicle.
- On the remote control, move the "THROTTLE TRIM" control dial until the vehicle is stationary when
the throttle/brake lever is in the neutral position.
- Check that the vehicle reacts to the remote control commands as expected (steering and drive) before
removing it from the support and placing the wheels on the ground. Do not reach into the drive or hold
the vehicle by its wheels.
d) Driving the vehicle
• Improper use can cause serious injury and damage to property! Only use the vehicle when it is within
your sight.
• Only use the vehicle when you are fully alert and able to respond. As is the case when driving a real
vehicle, fatigue, alcohol or medications can affect your ability to respond.
• This model vehicle must not be used on public roads, spaces or paths. Do not use the vehicle on private
land without the landowner's permission.
Never use the model in an area that may endanger other people, animals or objects. Do not drive
towards animals or people!
Before using the vehicle in a specially designated area (e.g. model car racing/rally track), ask the opera-
tor for permission.
• Avoid driving in very low outdoor temperatures. Plastic parts lose their elasticity in cold temperatures.
This may result in serious damage, even due to a minor accident.
• Do not use the vehicle during thunderstorms, under high-voltage power lines or next to radio masts.
• Protect the vehicle, battery and remote control from moisture and dirt. Do not expose the remote control
to direct sunlight or excessive heat for prolonged periods.
• Always leave the remote control turned on when the vehicle is in use.
• In the event of a fault, discontinue use immediately and establish the cause of the problem before using
the model again.
• When turning off the vehicle, always switch off the vehicle first before disconnecting the battery. Then
switch off the remote control. If the batteries in the remote control are weak, the range will decrease
and the vehicle may not respond properly to remote control commands. If this occurs, stop driving the
vehicle, switch it off, and then replace the remote control batteries.
