9. Setup

a) Removing the chassis
Remove the clips and lift the chassis off the vehicle.
b) Installing the antenna cable for the receiver
Guide the antenna cable through the antenna tube (A) and
insert it into the corresponding support (B) on top of the
receiver box.
To improve the range, the antenna should protrude verti-
cally from the vehicle.
Take care not to damage the antenna cable.
Never cut the antenna cable! Never wind the aerial cable!
This significantly reduces the transmission range.
c) Mounting the wheels
The 4 wheels are provided separately. Mount the wheels to the wheel axle using a suitable hex key (included with the
product). Refer to the information on mounting the wheels in section 12. c).
Make sure that all four tyres are pointing in the same direction. The tyres should be mounted so that the
arrows on the tyres profile point forwards when the vehicle is viewed from above.
d) Inserting batteries into the remote control
Open the battery compartment on the remote control and insert new or fully charged batteries. Ensure that the
batteries are inserted in the correct polarity (observe the positive/+ and negative/- markings). Replace the battery
compartment cover.

e) Configuring the remote control
Switch on the remote control and set the steering and throttle trim to the central position. If the remote control has a
dual rate feature, disable it or adjust it so that the steering angle is not limited.
