When the programme is running, the folding mode (Auto-Semi-Auto-Advanced) or the outfeed
mode (front or back if the machine is equipped) can be changed or the fold width and sheet
length can be defined depending on the folding mode at all times, simply by pressing the
required mode on the display and saving the changes in a programme (see section 3.3.4).
The machine operating mode can also be changed from folding mode to Auto or HPS mode
depending on the activated options (when the programme is running), by manually tipping the
outfeed tray (by simply pulling the magnetic tray).
- Outfeed tray closed: folding mode
- Outfeed tray open: manual, AUTO or HPS mode (folding mode deactivated).
The running screen changes automatically depending on the outfeed tray position.

If a folding programme is started when the outfeed tray is open, a message appears on the
screen indicating that the tray is incorrectly positioned. The folding programme can be started
by closing the outfeed tray (the message must be validated). It is however possible to start the
folding programme without closing the tray, in that case the programme starts without the
folding machine in manual, AUTO or HPS mode.
