BRAKE
At the time of delivery the brake lines of the BLUE are set to a medium position.
The brake toggle must NEVER be raised more than 5 cm higher than this standard position! Ex-
ceeding 5cm would result in a continuous application of the brakes. Please note that drag on the
brake line already applies load to the canopy before it looks tight to the pilot!
At the time of delivery, the brake adjustments have a neutral path of about 10cm. This setting is
ideal because it prevents the risk of slowing down the canopy unintentionally. The mark on the
Brake line corresponds to this adjustment and should not be reduced!
Warning! Under no circumstances should the Brake lines be shortened by more than 5 cm from
the mark on the line!
The BLUE exhibits comfortable handling with moderate brake travel and has progressive brake
forces (forces increase as brakes are applied). It is therefore important that each pilots make ad-
justments according to their individual size, harness combination and personal preference, so the
position of the brakes don't prove tiring.
The region between the shoulder and the chest is a transitional region between pulling and pushing
with the arms, and is thus inefficient for muscle power:
