Remove the ground connection
from the battery.
Mount the control unit in a splash-
proof position with the connections
at the bottom. Fix in place with
Parker screws or cable binders.
Lay the cables included in the kit
cleanly according to the circuit
diagram.

Cable set 1
Insert the plug on the control unit.
Guide the leads out of the engine
compartment along the floor of the
vehicle to the sensor and connect
them.
Cable set 2
Insert the plug on the control unit.
Connect the lead (brown) with the
ring contact to ground. Connect the
lead (red) with the snap-lock
connector to the dipped-beam
cable (56b).
Optional front-axle sensor cable
set
Insert 3 flat plain connection
contacts in the free plug jacks of
cable set 2 and click into place
(remove the dummy plugs first).
4 (yellow), 5 (red), 6 (black)
Guide the other end to the sensor
and connect it in place.
Cable set 3
Insert the plug on the control unit .
Guide the cables cleanly along the
engine compartment to the
headlamps. Insert the final plug on
the headlamp levelling actuator.
Secure all cables to unmovable
parts of the vehicle using cable
binders. Reconnect the ground
connection to the battery.
