12.2 Electrical component diagnosis
Problem
Green "HL" light does
not lit up
Motor stopped with pilot
light "HL" lit
Probable cause
Lamp burnt through
Power supply
Fuse "FU 1"
Short circuit
Speed switch "SA" in position "0"
"SB 1" emergency switch pushed
"SB 2" trigger switch
Thermoprobe has interfered due to
motor overload
Transformer "TC 1"
Fuse "FU 2"
Auxiliary relay "KA"
Plug and socket for the electrical
cabinet / micro switch of handle
"SQ 1" automatic shut-off limit switch
Remote control switch "KM"
Motor "M 1"
Remedy
Replace the lamp.
Check phases, cable, plug socket and plug.
The power should be enough for the fuses.
Check electrical efficiency.
Determine and solve.
Turn switch towards "1" or "2".
Check if the switch is off and check the
electrical efficiency.
Check the efficiency.
After a cooling time of 10-15 minutes, check
if there is current continuity on the two
wires. If there is none, the motor must be
replaced.
Check if supply voltage and power voltage
match (24 V).
Check efficiency of the fuse. Check for
short circuit, this will activate the fuse.
Check if the clamps of the coil have 24 V
when button "SB 2" is pushed. If this is the
case and the relay doesn't do anything, it
should be replaced.
Check if the plug is connected correctly and
check the electrical cabinet for wrong
connections.
Check the efficiency, replace when
damaged.
Check if the phases on this switch are
there. It may not be blocked, it should
close, no short circuits should take place.
Replace the switch when any of these
events occur.
Check that it is not burned and that it turns
freely. Replace it if damaged.
