7.4 Maintenance

7.4.1 Lubrication

Before starting any work on the linear unit, any electric drives used must be prevented
from accidental switching on.
All linear units are provided with the required amount of lubricants ex-factory. The maintenance
intervals are determined by the number of operating hours, loads and ambient influences.
Recommended lubricant for
•
Trapezoidal screw: MOLYKOTE EM-50L
-The spindles are lubricated directly on the spindle
-Lubricating interval: every 200-500 operating hours
(depending on the number of operating hours, loads and ambient influences)

Ball screw: DYNALUP 510
-The spindles are lubricated via the grease nipple (see Fig.)
-Lubricating interval: every 200-500 operating hours
(depending on the number of operating hours, loads and ambient influences)
