Operation (pic. 3):
Use the thermostat regulator and set the required
switch-off temperature.
The function switch has 4 switch levels
0
= off
*
= ventilation
= half heating output
= full heating output
To switch the electric heater off, let the function button in the
"Fan" position for app. 3-5 minutes. The appliance may then
be switched off or unplugged.
Never unplug the appliance when hot – let it cool down
first. The fan may still ventilate even when in the off position.
Power consumption corresponds to the sum of the heating
output (kw) and fan output.
Thermostat setting
Set the thermostat to the average switch-off
temperature.
Set the electric heater to the full heating output and let it
heat until the thermostat switches off. - until you hear
"snapping in".
After reaching the set temperature, the heating spiral
switches off and the fan keeps running to circulate the
air. As soon as the temperature drops, the heating spiral
switches on again.
If the room temperature is too low, turn the thermostat
regulator more to the right and switch the heater on
again.
If the room temperature is too high, turn the thermostat
more to the left and let the room get cooler.
Keep repeating these steps until reaching the required
switch-off temperature.
Attention: For the first commissioning of the electrical
heater, it can sometimes be an unpleasant odor which
is completely harmless and completely disappears with
increasing operating time.
