11. Battery Change
a) Outdoor Sensor
The display contrast reduces if the batteries are weak. A battery icon will also appear in the display
of the outdoor sensor and the weather station (in the area of the outdoor temperature/humidity).
Exchange the batteries for new ones.
If the weather station cannot find the outdoor sensor anymore, start a sensor scan according
to chapter 10. b).
b) Weather Station
The display contrast reduces strongly if the batteries are weak. A battery icon is also displayed
to the left of the weekday. Exchange the batteries for new ones. All settings and data will be lost.
Proceed as described in chapter 9. a).
12. Troubleshooting
With this weather station, you purchased a product built to the state of the art and operationally
safe. Nevertheless, problems or errors may occur. The following contains descriptions for the
removal of possible interferences.
No reception of the outdoor sensor transmission signal
• If you want to use several outdoor sensors (one is enclosed with the delivery, up to two others
can be ordered as accessories), each outdoor sensor must be set to a different transmission
channel (the channel selection switch is located in the battery compartment of the outdoor
sensor).
• Perform a manual search for the outdoor sensor at the weather station (see chapter 10. b).
• The distance between weather station and outdoor sensor is too large. Change the installation
site of the weather station and/or outdoor sensor.
• Objects or shielding materials (metallised insulated glass windows, reinforced concrete, etc.)
interfere with radio reception. The weather station is too close to other electronic devices (TV,
computer). Change the installation site of the weather station and/or outdoor sensor.
• The outdoor sensor batteries are weak or flat. Try inserting new batteries in the outdoor sensor.
