m) Absolute/Relative Barometric Pressure
• Use the button „ABSOLUTE/RELATIVE" (B8) to switch between absolute barometric pressure
(symbol „ABS" to the right of the barometric pressure value) and relative barometric pressure
(„REL").
The absolute barometric pressure is the barometric pressure actually measured by
the weather station. It depends on the altitude of your place of residence.
The relative barometric pressure is converted to sea level to get comparable values.
The data you will receive, e.g., online, are always indicated like this.
• If you have a reference value for relative barometric pressure (e.g. from a local measuring
station or the Internet), you can enter it in the weather station.
For this, briefly push the button „ABSOLUTE/RELATIVE" (B8) so that the relative barometric
pressure is displayed (symbol „REL" to the right of the barometric pressure value (A14)).
Keep the button „ABSOLUTE/RELATIVE" (B8) pushed for 3 seconds until the barometric
pressure value (A14) flashes.
Set the relative barometric pressure with the button „+ (°C/°F)" (B6) or „-" (B7) (keep the button
pushed for quick adjustment).
Confirm your setting by briefly pushing the button „ABSOLUTE/RELATIVE" (B8).
