• After initial commissioning, the weather forecasts for the first 12 to 24 hours should not be
considered, because the weather station needs to collect barometric pressure data at a
constant altitude above zero for this period to make precise forecasts.
• If the weather station is taken to a site at a much higher or lower altitude than the original one
(e.g. from the ground floor to an upper floor of a house), the weather station may consider
this a weather change.
13. Battery Change
a) Weather Station
The weather station's batteries are only backup batteries in case of power outage. We
recommend replacing the batteries no later than after 2 years to prevent leaking from old
batteries.
If you leave the plug-in mains adapter connected when replacing the barriers, no settings will
be lost.
b) Outdoor Sensor
If the display contrast at the outdoor sensor drops or the symbol "
outdoor sensor display, the batteries must be replaced. Proceed as described in chapter 9. b).
Then perform a manual search for the outdoor sensor at the weather station; see chapter
11. d).
