12. Battery Change

a) Weather Station
The batteries must be replaced when the display contrast is very weak, a battery icon (M)
appears to the right of the indoor humidity or the display disappears when the illumination is
activated.
When replacing the batteries, all measured data are lost.
See chapter 9. b) for the battery change.
b) Outdoor Sensor
The batteries must be replaced when the display contrast is very weak, a battery icon (O)
appears to the right of the outdoor humidity or the weather station no longer receives any
measured values from the outdoor sensor.
Since the outdoor sensor works with a safety code (which permits operating several weather
stations of the same build in parallel), proceed as follows:
• Remove the flat batteries from the outdoor sensor and insert new batteries; see chapter
9. a).
• Start search for the outdoor sensors at the weather station; see chapter 11. c).
