5.4 Assembly diagram

Fig. 5.4a shows a typical assembly diagram.

For correct installation, the smoke duct between
the Termopalex unit and the smoke stack must
be watertight and all joints must be sealed with
material suitable for high temperatures (A - Fig.
5.4a).
If the Termopalex unit is installed on a fume stack
that was previously used by other appliances,
clean the fume stack thoroughly to avoid faulty
operation and prevent any unburnt substances
deposited on the internal walls from starting a
fire.
The installation instructions require the installa-
tion of a heat recovery grill as close to the ceiling
as possible (about 20 cm) (C - Fig. 5.4a).
Incorrect installation may compromise
the safety of the equipment.
The casing must made of fireproof
material.
If flammable structures or materials
are present on the rear or adjacent to
the stove, comply with the minimum
safety distances provided in the prod-
uct booklet.
All combustible materials must be at a distance
of at least 100 cm from the heat radiation area
around the glass door (Fig. 5.4b).

5.5 Earth/Ground

The appliance has a screw for equipotential
connection that can receive a cable with a
cross-section of 2.5 mm2 to 6 mm2, used to
ensure equipotential status of the mass in com-
pliance with applicable standards. This coupling
is located on the rear of the stove and is indicat-
ed by the symbol
.

5.6 Fume evacuation system

The appliance must be connected to a fume
evacuation system capable of ensuring ade-
quate dispersion of combustion products into
the atmosphere, in compliance with EN 1856-1-2,
EN 1857, EN 1443, EN 13384-1-3, EN 12391-1, UNI
10683 regulations as regards the dimensions
and construction materials used.
The dimensions of the fume stack must comply
with those listed in the technical sheet provided
in the product booklet.
