5 PREPARING THE PLACE OF
INSTALLATION

5.1 ASSEMBLY DIAGRAM (FIG. 5.1)

A) For proper installation, the smoke ducting between
the fireplace and the flue must have all joints sealed.
B) External air intake (under fire bed)
C) Uni standards require installaiton of a heeat
recovery grille as close as possible to the ceiling.
D) Counter-hood and fireproof load-bearing structure
E) Cladding in ceramic fibre or rock wool with external
aluminium foil
F) Shield the wood parts with fireproof material
G) Minimum distance 1 cm between cladding and
fireplace appliance.
H) The cladding must be made of fireproof material.
Fig. 5.1.1 In the product technical detail shows the
minimum distances in centimeters to be observed
in the placement of the fireplace with respect to
materials and combustible objects.
Leave enough room for maintenance.

5.2 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The responsibility for any work done in the space
where the fireplace is to be installed is, and remains,
the user's. The user is also entrusted with carrying
out the checks regarding the proposed installation
solutions.
Any wood beam of the cladding, or any finish in
combustible material, must be suitably insulated
(or located outside the area that is heated by the
fireplace).
The user must comply with all the local, national
and European rules and regulations.
If the floor does not have a sufficient load-bearing
capacity, it is advisable to use a load-distributing
plate of an appropriate size.
The appliance must be installed on a floor with an
adequate carrying capacity.
If the floor does not have a sufficient load-bearing
capacity, it is advisable to use a load-distributing
plate of an appropriate size.
The fireplace assembly and disassembly operations
must be carried out by skilled technicians only.
It is always advisable for the user to call our
assistance service when they need qualified
technicians.
If other technicians are called in, please make sure
they are truly qualified.
Before starting the assembly or dismantling phases
of the fireplace, the installer must comply with the
safety precautions as established by law, and in
particular :
1. he must not work in adverse conditions;
2. he must be in perfect psychophysical condition
to work and ensure that the individual and
personal accident prevention devices are sound
and in perfect working order;
3. he must wear accident prevention gloves;
4. he must wear safety shoes;
5. he must make sure that the area he is working
in for assembling/dismantling the fireplace is
free from obstacles.
