5 INSTALLATION
5.1 General remarks
The following paragraphs provide a number of
instructions to ensure the best performance and
safe operation of the product purchased.
The following instructions are, in any
event, subject to compliance with any
national, regional and local laws and
regulations in force in the country
where the product is installed.
Depending on specific needs, the hy-
draulic system, the serial number sup-
port, the inspection compartment, the
combustive air inlet and the expansion
tank may be assembled on the left side
of the stove instead of the right side.
Before proceeding with the installation of the
stove and its casing, the following checks must
be performed:
• check the correct positioning of the plugs on
the turbulators (Fig. 5.1) and fume deflectors;
• check the correct operation of the bypass valve.
5.2 Dry positioning
It is advisable to pre-assemble the appliance dry,
in order to understand the dimensions of the
various components and the air intake passages.
The front part of the appliance must line up with
the inner edge of the marble top, leaving a 5 mm
gap to allow for heat expansion (Fig. 5.2).
5.3 Levelling the appliance
To adjust the final height of the Termopalex unit
(fire level height of the casing), simply use the
adjustment screws on the legs. Adjust the screws
(Fig. 5.3: A-adjusting screw, B-fire level height)
until the marble top profile of the Termopalex is
at the correct height from the casing, making
sure that the base of the stove is level.
