2 SAFETY WARNINGS
2.1 Warnings for installation
technicians
Observe the instructions provided in this manual.
The assembly and disassembly in-
structions provided with this appli-
ance are only intended for specialised
technicians.
Installation of the appliance and connections to
it must be made in keeping with good practice
by qualified personnel.
Responsibility for work carried out in the area
that houses the stove is and remains borne by
the user; the latter is also required to verify the
proposed installation solutions.
The installer must comply with all local, national
and European safety regulations.
The appliance must be installed on floors of ap-
propriate load-bearing capacity.
Make sure that the positions for the
fume stack and air intake match the
type of installation.
Do not make electrical connections using tem-
porary or non-insulated cables.
Make sure that the earth/ground connection for
the electrical system is efficient.
Before starting stove assembly or disassembly
stages, the installer must comply with the safety
precautions required by law and in particular:
• not work in adverse conditions;

• operate in perfect mental and physical con-
dition and make sure that individual and
personal protection equipment is intact and
fully functional;
• wear safety gloves and shoes;
• use electrically insulated tools;
• make sure that the area affected by assembly/
disassembly tasks is free from obstacles.
3 HANDLING AND
TRANSPORT
The appliance is delivered complete with all its
parts: metal structure assembled and inner lining
of the combustion chamber separated. These
parts are contained in packaging suitable for
long-distance transport. We recommend unpack-
ing the appliance only after it has arrived at the
installation site.
Suitable means must absolutely be
used to handle and unpack the stove
and the compatibility of the room
where it is to be installed must be
verified.
Make sure that children do not play with the pack-
aging materials (e.g. films and polystyrene):
Risk of suffocation!
During stove handling, lifting and unpacking
operations, it is vital to:
• always keep it in a vertical position;
• never tilt it in a horizontal position;
• never tilt it to the front to avoid breaking the
glass.
3.1 Removing the packaging
Remove the shrink film.
Release the ballast by removing the fixing
clamps.
Where present, remove the packaging containing
parts of the stove from inside the hearth.
Remove the screws that secure the
feet of the appliance to the pallet (Fig.
3.1) and remove the pallet.
